贾维嘉教授曾任香港城市大学计算机科学系教授,上海交通大学计算机科学与工程系全职致远讲席教授,澳门大学讲座教授和智慧城市物联网国家重点实验室副主任。贾维嘉教授及其团队研究方向为边缘计算,人工智能算法,网络空间实体对象传感,人机物融合知识图谱构建与大数据处理、下一代无线通信协议、物联网,并取得得了诸多国内外领先的研究成果。
研究方向为网络空间实体对象传感,智能边缘计算、人机物融合知识图谱构建与大数据处理、下一代无线通信协议、物联网。在组播通信、多媒体通信等领域均取得了诸多国内外领先的研究成果。特别是在Anycast (选播) 路由协议研究领域和网络匹配方面进行了先驱性的研究成果,解决了路由有效性和大规模传感器覆盖问题,为工业界采用。在人工智能与自然语言处理取得了很多国际领先的研究成果。近年来在边缘智能计算方面取得理论和实际应用设备设计成果。在顶级国际杂志和学术会议上发表论文超600篇。曾被多个权威国际会议邀请做大会主题演讲。撰写了专著3部(由Springer和科学出版社出版)和参与了12部书籍的撰写。 2017年获教育部科技一等奖(排名第二);2014年获广东省科技三等奖1项;2005年获湖南省科技进步二等奖1项。 2020年成功申请广东省人工智能与多模态数据处理重点实验室;2021年成功申请广东省人工智能与未来教育工程中心。获批专利8项(其中二项美国专利,六项中国专利)。设计的物联网产品曾经连续获2010,2011年深圳高科技展会最佳产品奖。担任多项IEEE国际学术会议程序主席。在多个IEEE,ACM国际学术会议上做特邀与大会报告。曾任IEEE TPDS和ComCom编委,国家特聘专家(2013);2020年被选为IEEE 会士(IEEE Fellow)和CCF杰出会员。研究工作得到了澳门科技基金会、香港研究资助委员会、中国863和973項目的资助。2018和2019年分别获得澳门科技基金会一百万与三百万澳门币的资助开发通信与人工智能系统。2006和2008年分别获得香港创新及科技支援计划及配套基金一千一百万港币与九百六十万港币的资助开发跨平台无线网络安全系统。参与国家科技部973和863项目各两项。参与国家科技部973和863项目各两项;主持香港政府科学基金(GRF)和香港城市大学应用研究及发展基金(ARD)等研究项目共20多项,科研经费总额达四百多万美元。申请专利10多项(其中2项是美国专利)。在IEEE国际学术会议中多次担任程序主席、分会主席、指导或程序委员会委员, 其中包括ICDCS、MASS、ICC, ICPADS和ICPP 等重大国际会议。担任国际学术刊物编委。他已在许多国际计算机大会上担任分会主席、程序委员会委员,其中包括ICDCS, ICPP, MASS和ICPADS 等许多重要的国际会议。近年来,他应邀在多个国际学术会议上做主题演讲,应邀在许多世界著名大学做了多次学术报告。
